If you are interested in joining Freemasonry send us an email and find out what is required of you. It demands much patience and we are in no rush to admit new members. Only gentlemen of good reputation and conforming to our restrictions will be considered.
Lodge Han Yang meets in the Cheesman Room of the Seoul Club at 7:30pm on the second and fourth Wednesday of most months, excluding December and July. Our installation is normally held in September while other events are scheduled throughout the year. Our lodge regularly hosts Masons from other lodges. Whether you are a first-time visitor to South Korea or a returning member, we most heartily welcome you to join us in our Masonic labor if you have had your Grand Lodge contact ours. You must prove to us that you are a member in good standing in a lodge recognised by the Grand Lodge of Scotland. A current dues card is sufficient to be greeted, though you will be tested by a past master before being admitted. The Seoul Club is an international business and sports club located in central Seoul. We suggest that first-time visitors take a taxi to the building since it can be difficult to find. A taxi ride from anywhere in Seoul will be relatively inexpensive, but you may want to give yourself extra time since traffic can get extremely congested during rush hour. We normally ask Freemasons from other jurisdictions to show up by 7:00pm so we can examine your credentials. If possible, please bring your dues card, letter of clearance, Masonic diploma, or other relevant documents which show your Masonic affiliation. Harmony typically follows each meeting, which visitors are more than welcome to attend. Our dress code is dark suit and tie. Below is a map in English and Korean.
